Recognizing the growth and quality of homes in the Low Country, John with his wife Alice (Vice President) and their three children moved to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina in 1994. Other dedicated employees followed John and AGM Imports took birth servicing the Southeast with quality granite and marble. As business grew with more people wanting the beauty of granite countertops, expansion was necessary and John opened a warehouse outside of Atlanta, Georgia in the year 2000. Quick service and fast delivery is what fabricators want and a third AGM Imports warehouse was opened in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2003. AGM Imports warehouse in Charleston, South Carolina was opened in 2005, as John continued to bring the AGM Imports stone inventory closer to the fabricators and their customers. John Antunes has many international connections, multilingual skills and a unique knowledge of stone, which in his travels to Portugal, Italy, Brazil and other countries enables him to have purchasing power and selection of premium quality stone. East Coast Finishing is a faux finishing and refinishing company. Services include practical and progressive finishes such as Antique Glazing, Distressing, European & French Country Styles, Wood Graining, Textured Finishes, Brushed Faux Finishing, and Metal Leaf Gilding. Our services are performed on-site. Surfaces: Kitchen Cabinets, Staircases, Furniture, Trim, Walls, and Doors. It is possible to put a nice finish on laminate cabinets.
