Skidaway Steamers was started in 2010 by Steven Hughes and Garner Creel to provide Savannah and the low country an option for turnkey, “one pot” catering based upon a simple principle that “fresh is best.” All of the products and ingredients we use are local or flown in the day of your event to assure you and your guests are served the highest quality seafood available. Skidaway Steamers specializes in Low Country Boils, Oyster Roasts, Clam/Lobster Bakes and Crawfish Boils. We also provide side dishes such as Savannah Red Rice, Asian Coleslaw, Corn Bread and our world famous Brunswick Stew. In addition, we include our housemade seasonings and condiments: SS Cocktail Sauce and SS Seafood Butter. With Skidaway Steamers, you need only decide what you want us to serve and let us take it from there.

It is our pleasure to introduce you to our company. Advanced Appliance Services, Inc. has provided quality appliance repair services to the greater Savannah area for over 15 years. Services include repair, maintenance, parts, and new installation. Our company services ALL brands and models of household appliances and for most we are factory authorized to provide service through manufacturer’s warranty.
We are rated as a “AAA Service Center” by the Professional Service Association. This rating means that we have a live staff on hand to handle your service requests, we have a facility that is open to the public, our trucks are professionally decaled, our technicians are clean-cut and wear uniforms, and our staff has passed standard industry testing to provide you and your customers with the highest level of customer service. Repair skills are up to date with the latest technologies, and our service is guaranteed. Technicians are licensed and have passed manufacturer’s courses, factory training, and industry standard tests to become Master Technicians. A detailed estimate is provided after diagnosis and before beginning any repair work.
Advanced Appliance Services is proud to provide quality service to families in the low country area. If, in the future, you find an appliance in need of repair, please give us a call. We will make sure you receive prompt courteous service.
Our service call is $85.00 which covers the trip to your home and a diagnosis of the problem, this charge does not cover repair. We do not bill per hour; to quote labor we use The Original Blue Book Major Appliance Job Rate Guide, author Dean Landers. The guide is used in the appliance repair industry nationwide to promote and insure fair labor charges throughout the country. Also please do understand that our services include more than just face time with the technician. A live person answers the phone and is on site to take service calls, if a part is needed a part we have a part specialist on site to research the best price and obtain that part for you, and a highly trained master technician who can pin point the machine’s problem.
