Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 12, and join Skidaway Rotary in The Village Square for Skidaway Rotary’s Family FunFest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There will be all kinds of fun and informative activities for children of all ages including an art show and crafts with the Landings Art Association, face painting, bouncy castles, a train ride, magic, games, and more.

Chatham County Police and Chatham Emergency Services firefighters will present kid-friendly programs. Additionally, The Landings Motorcycle Group will have bikes on display. The Savannah Bananas will preview their 2018 season, including photo ops with their mascot, Split, from 12 to 1 p.m. Hester & Zipperer will offer a large assortment of plants and flowers that will make perfect Mother’s Day gifts. Plus, The Village Library will hold a book sale!

You’ll want to check out the exhibitors and not-for-profit organizations represented, including The Humane Society, Coastal Conservation Association, Skidaway Audubon, and The Mighty Eighth Association, to name just a few.

Of course, a FunFest has got to include food like family beverages, popcorn, icy treats, and tasty lunch offerings grilled up by Skidaway Island Rotarians, who are pleased to be hosting this event for our community.
