Here at The Smoke, our BBQ is a labor of love. From the moment we receive our choice meats, we feel a devotion that only a mother can understand. Our process starts with a tenderizing brine and then we take the time to cover every square inch with our homemade dry rub. Once it makes its way to our in house smoker, the heat is on…for up to 16 hours in pecan wood! If it’s not hand pulled, hand sliced or fallin’ off the bone tender, it’s not ours! We strive for a freshness and a quality that local farmers can tip their hat at. (Here’s lookin’ at you Savannah River Farms, GA Buffalo, Flat Creek Lodge and Southern Swiss Dairy). When you’re dining with our family, please keep in mind the time and dedication that goes into our meats. BowTie Barbecue Co. started as a small batch, hand crafted barbecue sauce produced out of the Johnny Harris Famous Barbecue Sauce Co. We had desire to create something truly unique for the Savannah area, so we created a boutique barbecue sauce brand that used all natural and local ingredients. We enhanced the “Savannah Style” barbecue sauce. Now we bring those same values to the restaurant world. We present BowTie Barbecue Co.: An upscale, affordable approach to Barbecue, Chicken, Burgers and Southern Delights that Savannah has never experienced, including an inspiring list of craft beers and small batch whiskeys. Emily Danzig is a Landings Resident and a Culinary Institute of America trained chef and healthnut! Specializing in clean, nutritious, healing foods that are mostly plant based.  Each plant based meal is full of organic, local, seasonal produce. Non plant based meals are full of sustainable protein and health supporting good fats.  Meals for the week, dinner parties, cooking classes.

Mindy Gordon Lasky is the founder of Yogi Palz and a Savannah, GA native, but discovered her love of yoga in Atlanta while living there as a nanny. She needed an outlet to her stressful, big city life and came across yoga when she was given a free class pass. After that, she was hooked. She worked with many families in Atlanta as a nanny, and found so much joy in teaching her littles about yoga. They were so amazed at what their little bodies could do with just a little focus, balance and some laughter. When she moved back to Savannah, she began to think about how she could merge the two (Children and Yoga) together. Mindy enrolled herself in a RYT 200hr program through the Savannah Yoga Center, which she completed in May of 2016, and got certified in Kidding Around Yoga in December of 2015. Yogi Palz was born through her determination of bringing this dream to life. She knows that if she was given this opportunity as a child to get on her mat, learn focus and balance, she would have had a way better relationship with herself. Being young is challenging; especially when you don’t understand how to balance emotions. Mindy hopes to teach kids how to find that calm amongst all the chaos life brings.
