On the Security Scene

On Tuesday, January 27, a resident on Franklin Court contacted Security to report a theft. The resident explained that she had been alerted to an Amazon delivery on Sunday, January 25. When she checked outside, she noticed two packages although she was only expecting one. Later that morning, she witnessed a man approach her doorstep and retrieve a package, so she assumed it was the rightful owner. When she went outside to retrieve her package sometime later, both packages were gone. She did not want to report the incident to Chatham County Police Department (CCPD), as the package was nothing of significance and had already been replaced. There were no other reports of missing packages in the area.

Juvenile-Related Incident

On Friday, January 23, Landings Security and CCPD responded to TLA’s Administration Building rear parking lot, for a report of a large group of juveniles gathering for a fight. Once CCPD arrived on scene with Landings Security, the crowd dispersed. One of the parties involved has been identified, and TLA is waiting on statement forms to identify other parties.

Extra Patrols

From January 20 to 27, Landings Security performed 27 extra patrols throughout the community in addition to their routine patrols and duties.

Traffic Safety Update
