Concrete Curb Maintenance

Absolute Concrete completed curb repairs along Priber Lane and the entrance to the Dog Park this week. 

TLA/TLC Lagoon Meeting

On October 23, TLA and TLC Staff met to discuss the Lagoon Services Contract and upcoming Stormwater Pro-rate Contribution Impervious Coverage Study Meeting. Staff from both organizations also discussed the Lagoon 2 Project, which requires additional engineering before the project can move forward. TLA Staff are in the process of obtaining a quote from Thomas and Hutton to determine associated costs for engineering and staff from both organizations will review the proposal thereafter before moving forward with the project.

Annual Fire Extinguisher and Alarm Testing/Inspection

This week, our service provider, Pye Barker, completed the annual testing and inspection of the fire extinguishers located in each of our facilities, vehicles, equipment, and Marinas. Next month, Pye Barker will return to complete the annual fire alarm testing and inspection at TLA Building, Public Works Building, Delegal Marina Sunset Room and BrightView’s facility. This annual inspection is funded through our operational budget.

 

Bartram Road and Priest Landing Drive Retaining Wall Project

In-house staff completed the installation of the retaining wall at the intersection of Bartram Road and Priest Landing Drive this week ahead of schedule.
