WaterWise Project Informational Meeting: October 11

Skidaway Audubon is promoting irrigation technology that saves both water and money. In conjunction with The Landings Strategic Water Committee, we have launched The WaterWise Project to promote the use of ultra-local Personal Weather Stations and Intelligent Irrigation Controllers in The Landings.

You are invited to an informational meeting in the Main Conference Room at The Landings Association's administration building (600 Landings Way) on Friday, October 11 at 4 p.m.

If you are interested, we’d love to talk with you. Skidaway Audubon has placed a network of high-quality Weather Stations across the island as part of this pilot project and a station is within about a half mile of your house. We're encouraging folks to upgrade to an Intelligent Irrigation Controller (available at a significant discount from TLA). Individuals in our pilot program have reduced water use by 40 to 50%, greatly assisting our goals of reducing overall water usage on the island, and providing hundreds of dollars in savings for the homeowner! Together we hope to make a dramatic difference in the amount of water used for irrigation on the island.

Join us on Friday, October 11 at 4 pm in the Main Conference Room at The Landings Association's administration building (600 Landings Way) to learn more. Seating is limited, so please register with this link:
