Marinas Update

The recent rainy, chilly weather has kept many boaters indoors. However, we hope the groundhog’s prediction will hold true, and we’ll see an early spring. To help get us more in the mindset of the much-anticipated season, the Harbor Store is fully stocked with items to help you get your vessel ready to hit the water. We carry various cleaning supplies, including OrPine boat soaps, Spray Nine, Amazing Roll-Off, Interstate cranking and deep cycle batteries, and engine oil. Marina members receive 10 cents off per gallon on all fuel purchases and 30 cents off per gallon for purchases exceeding 100 gallons. If you have any suggestions for new items in the store, please share them with Marinas Office Manager Katie Smith (912-598-1901 or katies@landings.org).

Free Vessel Safety Checks will be offered by the Coast Guard Auxiliary on March 21 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Landings Harbor Marina. Don’t miss this opportunity to make sure your vessel is up to federal safety standards, giving you peace of mind in an emergency that you have the necessary equipment to save lives and call for help.

When you visit us, we ask that you help us keep the Marinas safe by observing posted signs about vehicle and pedestrian traffic. We also ask that our guests assist us in keeping our Marinas tidy by cleaning up after yourself and your four-legged companions. Remember, both Marinas feature dog waste bags and garbage bins.

Finally, don’t forget to like us on Facebook (www.facebook. com/The-Landings-Marinas-139666659475374/) and check the online calendar (www.landings.org/calendar) to learn about the upcoming cruises and exciting events taking place this year at the Marinas.

As always, happy boating, and we hope to see you around the Marinas!
