What is the ARC and What is its Function?

Wed, 05/08/2024

The Landings Association's Architectural Review Committee (ARC) plays a vital role in maintaining the overall aesthetic of our community. The ARC is a group of resident volunteers who are responsible for reviewing and approving plans for exterior changes, additions to homes, and new construction within the community. These committee members review applications, interpret plans, and authorize changes to the exterior of an existing home as well as new construction for undeveloped lots. Volunteers are the backbone of this committee, dedicating their time, talent, and knowledge to uphold the integrity of the housing stock within The Landings. Their efforts contribute to a sense of pride and ownership among residents, encouraging a shared appreciation for the community's aesthetic appeal. Without the devotion of these volunteers, the ARC would be unable to effectively fulfill its mandate, potentially leading to a patchwork of architectural modifications that could undermine the community's charm and overall value.

We encourage you to email the Community Development Department (CDD@landings.org) when considering renovations to your home so our team can guide you through the application process. The Community Development Department and Architectural Review Committee members look forward to working with you to ensure The Landings remains a beautiful place to live, work, and play, and your property values are protected.
