Join UGA Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant for the fourth annual Oyster Roast for a Reason fundraising event supporting Georgia’s first oyster hatchery.
The event will take place on Sunday, November 17, from 2-6 p.m. on the bluff next to the UGA Aquarium. The event will feature live music provided by Chameleon Brotherhood and guests will have the opportunity to enjoy locally harvested Georgia oysters.
Tickets are $75 each and are available for purchase by clicking the link below. Tickets will increase to $100 each on October 18.
A limited number of prints by artist J. Alan Campbell of John “Crawfish” Crawford roasting oysters at a previous Oyster Roast for a Reason event will be sold online and at the event.
