As of 11:00 pm on Wednesday, Sept 4, it looks like Savannah will avoid the worst impacts of Hurricane Dorian.

According to the National Hurricane Center, the eye of the hurricane is roughly 100 miles Southeast of Savannah, and is moving North-Northeast in the direction of the Carolinas.

By noon Thursday, the storm will be moving away, up the coast, and with any luck won’t leave much more than bad memories.
