All Residents Encouraged to Attend Military Appreciation Day: Saturday, March 30

Saturday, March 30 is Military Appreciation Day and all residents are welcomed to attend! General admission tickets are $10 each and grants you access to everything, including all the fun at Schooner Cove (see complete details below). General Admission will be located at the front of the Deer Creek Clubhouse. Cash and credit cards will be accepted in addition to Landings Club member numbers for admission, food, and drinks.   For convenient parking, golf cart corrals will be located at the #10 tee, the #5 Comfort Station, and, #14. Public Parking with shuttle will be offered at Bethesda for a $5 donation. A free shuttle for residents of The Landings will be available at the UGA Skidaway Institute of Oceanography.   To honor our veterans and active duty military, rescue helicopters, Humvees, Black Hawks, and more will be statically displayed throughout the golf course. All vehicles, aircrafts and helicopters will be arriving on the golf course at 5am and will remain on display around the golf course throughout the day. Early birds are welcome to view this patriotic display.   The evening will conclude with a military appreciation ceremony and flyover following play on #18 if weather permits. Stick around. When the ceremony ends, local favorite Chuck Courtenay will be playing on Music on the Lawn behind the clubhouse.

Schooner Cocktail Deer Creek a Coastal Grill won this year’s Schooner Challenge! Visit the concessions stand at Schooner Cove to try their hand-crafted creation consisting of Absolut Vodka, strawberry, basil, simple syrup and lemon juice. Member drink pricing is $8; non-member pricing is $10.  

Trick Shot Contest Head over to Schooner Cove for our first annual Trick Shot Contest Wednesday, March 27 at 6pm. Competing pairs will be judged by Web.com Tour professionals on creativity and the successful explanation and execution of the trick shot. You won’t want to miss this crazy competition. See you in the stands. Make sure to bring your score cards!
