Join us this spring as we invite Boxed In/Break Out artist Ron Longsdorf to discuss his exhibition “A sense of home.” This site-specific installation in the Jepson Center’s Barnard Street windows references the literal construction and metaphorical associations of the word “home,” and will be on view from April 19 – October 21, 2018.

Emily Stamey, Curator of Exhibitions at the Weatherspoon Art Museum and guest judge of this year’s submissions, wrote of Longsdorf’s proposal that it “hit the mark on so many different levels: a striking visual image, an inventive use of materials, an engaging theme, and a thoughtful consideration of community involvement.”
