Come learn all about the network of birdhouses maintained by Skidaway Audubon, what nesting materials birds prefer, and how to set up your own bird house, at the March 12 meeting of Skidaway Audubon.

Audubon’s Brenda Ecken and Sarah Lucas will present an update on the Dave Scott Bluebird Trail which is comprised of 196 bluebird boxes bordering The Landings’ six golf courses. It is the largest monitored birdhouse trail in the Southeast.

The March 12 meeting will include a summary of last year’s nest box successes made possible by Audubon’s dedicated flock of volunteers who monitor the birdhouses. The presentation will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1 W. Ridge Road.
