Skidaway Resident: YesAre y’all ready for one heck of a good time? This isn’t gonna be like a painful picture day at school! #pinkypromise No awkward family poses and forced smiles, but rather a whole lot of family fun full of those perfectly-imperfect, REAL + beautiful moments. Because I’m all about authentically capturing your family and y’all having a good ‘ole time. The little things and those big feelings. Like that spontaneous sword fight with your son on a golden afternoon at Delegal or your kids playing tag at the Gazebo on Moon River. Candid, raw, and authentically your family. So if y’all love to laugh your butts off and wanna see my little Chihuahua Gidget do her awesome tricks (she’s the best photo assistant + ice breaker for kids!), we’ll be fast friends in no time. Check out my family photography on Skidaway Island at The Landings here. P.S. With over ninety 5 star client reviews, I’m definitely kid approved! Are you ready? Let’s chat! Pura Vida, Kristen

Skidaway Resident: YesMindy Gordon Lasky is the founder of Yogi Palz and a Savannah, GA native, but discovered her love of yoga in Atlanta while living there as a nanny. She needed an outlet to her stressful, big city life and came across yoga when she was given a free class pass. After that, she was hooked. She worked with many families in Atlanta as a nanny, and found so much joy in teaching her littles about yoga. They were so amazed at what their little bodies could do with just a little focus, balance and some laughter. When she moved back to Savannah, she began to think about how she could merge the two (Children and Yoga) together. Mindy enrolled herself in a RYT 200hr program through the Savannah Yoga Center, which she completed in May of 2016, and got certified in Kidding Around Yoga in December of 2015. Yogi Palz was born through her determination of bringing this dream to life. She knows that if she was given this opportunity as a child to get on her mat, learn focus and balance, she would have had a way better relationship with herself. Being young is challenging; especially when you don’t understand how to balance emotions. Mindy hopes to teach kids how to find that calm amongst all the chaos life brings.
