On the Security Scene
Property Damage
On Thursday, February 12, Landings Security received a report about someone driving on the Athletic Fields at The Landings Association. The complainant advised that, upon his arrival, he thought he had witnessed a vehicle on the field, but he was not entirely sure until he turned on the lights and saw tire marks on field. He was able to provide a description of the vehicle and a partial license plate to the responding Security Officer. The vehicle was located at The Deck at Franklin Creek, and the driver was identified as a permanent guest of a resident. Chatham County Police Department (CCPD) was contacted and completed a damage to property report. The sponsoring resident was advised of the incident.
Trespass
On Friday, February 13, Landings Security responded to a residence on Canticle Lane for a report of trespassing. The homeowner advised that an individual known to her had arrived at her home, but he was not authorized to be there. The individual stated he had parked at Publix and walked into the community before someone on a golf cart gave him a ride to the residence. Security and the homeowner asked the individual several times to leave before he finally agreed to allow Security to take him to his vehicle. The individual then drove over to the BP station and returned to Publix, so the responding Officer contacted CCPD. CCPD arrested the individual for driving while intoxicated and issued a criminal trespass notice for the Landings property.

The suspect is unknown.
