Save-The-Date: CCA Kids' Fishing Derby May 25

The Skidaway Chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) is pleased to announce that its annual Kids' Fishing Derby will be held on Saturday, May 25 at the Kids Fishing Lagoon (#56) located behind the fire station in Oakridge (near crossover bridge at Westcross and Log Landing roads). Check-in is from 8:30 to 9 a.m., with fishing from 9 to 10:30 a.m., and prizes awarded at 11 a.m.

New this year is our BLUEGILL BONANZA! We will have 10 tagged bluegill swimming around in the Kids Fishing Lagoon. Youngsters participating in the Derby who catch a tagged fish will receive a $100 Bass Pro gift card courtesy of Skidaway CCA.

Please note: Children and guests of Landings residents are invited to participate. Kids may be as young as three or as old as 15. EACH CHILD MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES.
