An exceptional and exciting live auction is set for Coastal Conservation Association's (CCA’s) upcoming Banquet and Auction on April 23 at the Palmetto Clubhouse Ballroom.

"Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on everything from helping 'Trapper Jack Douglas' capture an alligator in one of our lagoons to heading to Kessler’s exclusive Casa Monica Resort to catch a few rays in St. Augustine, Florida,"noted Banquet Chair Tom Rood.

This year, marks CCA Skidaway's 24th annual event, an island tradition where CCA invites new and seasoned anglers as well as everyone interested in the conservation of our coastal marine resources to join us for an evening of great food, fun and fund raising.

“For the food lover, we’ll be gaveling a Low Country Boil for 30 individuals at Delegal’s Sunset Room along with a one-of-a-kind Surf-n-Turf dinner for 10 courtesy of Tyson & Hale, Rood continued. "We haven’t forgotten the sportsperson either, with offerings such as a half-day quail hunt at the famed Dorchester Shooting Preserve and a shotgun shooting lesson at Forrest City Gun Club with noted instructor Chris Batha, and a variety of in-shore fishing trips provided by Savannah charter captains. For the nature lover, we have offerings that range from an island eco tour with naturalist “Crawfish Crawford,” to a three-hour Bull River cruise for 30 around Skidaway Island. These are just a few highlights of our live auction line-up. We will, of course, have our popular silent auction with an array of both angling and non-angling prizes.”

CCA Skidaway's fundraising continues to help CCA in its role as the voice of the recreational angler and support a wide range of initiatives that serve to enhance our coastal environments.

Ticket prices are $260 per couple and $140 per single and include an annual CCA membership. Tickets are available for purchase by visiting ccaskidaway.org or click here. Tables of 10 can be reserved so you can sit with friends and family.
