Main Gate Closed for Resurfacing April 1-12

The Landings Main Gate, (both the entry and exit lanes) will be closed for resurfacing beginning Monday (April 1) through April 12. Barring any significant delays, we anticipate re-opening the gate on Saturday (April 13). 

In-house staff and its contractors preemptively widened the lanes around the Main Gate to allow for two lane traffic on Landings Way South and Landings Way North. This will help reduce confusion within the community during the project, reduce heavy truck traffic driving through Tidewater Square, and help address any concerns/delays regarding upcoming community events.

The map below outlines the project area and closures, along with the newly installed road, which will help the flow of traffic during this closure.  

Residents in Midpoint Can Use the Following Routes

• Utilize the North/Marshwood Gate (located on McWhorter Drive and Landings Way North) for entry/exit.
• Use Brandenberry Road to Yam Gandy Road, then take a right on Landings Way South and a left on Westcross Road to the Oakridge Gate.
• Use Tidewater Square and make a right-hand turn to the North Gate or a left-hand turn to Westcross Road, then take a right to the Oakridge Gate.

Traffic North of Tidewater Way (including those traveling to Landings Harbor Marina)

• Utilize the North/Marshwood Gate (located on McWhorter Drive) for entry and exit.

Traffic South of Tidewater Way (including those traveling to Delegal Creek Marina)

• Utilize the Oakridge Gate via Westcross Road for entry and exit.

Please notify your guests and contractors of this upcoming work so they can plan accordingly as there will be delays. In-house staff will continue to update the community during the project's progression.
