Reminder: Scheduled Georgia Power Outage in The Landings Tomorrow (Tuesday, March 19)

Georgia Power has informed The Landings Association that a power outage is scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday, March 19) from 9 to 10 a.m. Affected streets/areas are listed below along with a map supplied by Georgia Power. The outage, which will affect approximately 326 customers, is necessary to complete the switch from the old cabling to the newly installed cabling in this area. 

• Deer Run
• Landings Way
• Bartram Road
• Wickersham Drive
• Willeford Drive
• Surrounding roads around these main roads.

Immediately after the scheduled outage on March 19, Georgia Power will begin working on the area from Marshwood #6 hole to Marshwood #1 hole. Please see the map below. Georgia Power reports the goal is to have this area switched over to the new cabling with minimal disturbance to members. Members may experience power blinks or a minimal outage lasting for a few minutes. The majority of customers in this area should not experience power interruptions.
