CCA Annual Banquet and Auction Set for April 18: Palmetto Clubhouse Ballroom

CCA’s Skidaway 23rd Annual Banquet and Auction is scheduled to take place at 6 p.m. on April 18, at the Palmetto Clubhouse Ballroom.

“Over the years, our dinner and auction has become one of our island’s signature events, and we look forward to catching up with old friends and introducing newcomers to our CCA Skidway Chapter,” said Banquet Chair Tom Rood.      

The Banquet Committee invites anglers as well as everyone interested in the conservation of our coastal marine resources to join us for an evening of great food, fun and fundraising. The evening again will feature one of the best “live auctions” in the Coastal Empire as well as a Silent Auction with an extensive array of both angling and non-angling prizes.        

Recognizing the steep increase in angling interest on island, your CCA Skidaway Chapter this past year has really been “Cranking it Up” in terms of the number and variety of fishing events, clinics, and seminars available to adult and youth anglers. Our efforts are helping to introduce newcomers to the joys of angling and to build a better understanding of the need for quality marine habitats.      

Our fundraising will continue to help CCA in its role as “the voice of the recreational angler” and support a wide range of CCA initiatives that serve to conserve and enhance our coastal environments.      

Ticket prices are $235 per couple and $125 per single and are now available for purchase at ccaskidaway.org.
