2023 Road Replacement Project

Bennett Paving completed paving Yam Gandy Road this week and will be addressing any punch list items over the next week. They also completed milling and paving sections of asphalt on Marsh Elder  Lane this week. Marsh Elder Lane will be seal coated within the next week, depending on weather.

Bennett Paving also paved Marburg Lane this week and will progress to Wiley Bottom Road North on Monday, March 13.

Center Island Removal on Wiley Bottom Road South

Staff removed a small center island on Wiley Bottom Road South this week in preparation for the upcoming repaving of the roadway. This center island was originally installed to protect a specimen tree. However, that tree died several years ago and was subsequently removed. Additionally, the placement of the island was problematic for large vehicles, and residents near the island had difficulty accessing their driveways.

Contracted Concrete Work

Absolute Concrete completed curb repairs along Wiley Bottom South this week and are scheduled to make repairs on Priest Landing Drive next week.

Deer Creek Club Car Championship Preparation in Lagoons

Staff began the aquatic dye applications and inspections of the Deer Creek lagoons in preparation for the Club Car Championship that is taking place later this month.

Deer Creek Automatic Gate Replacement Project

Remote Technology worked on the replacement of the Deer Creek Automatic Gate project this week. The slide gate replacement is the last component needed to complete this project. Once all of the parts have been delivered, the gate will be shut down to allow time for installation.
