Landings Harbor Dry Storage Project

The Building Permits have been received for Phase One of this project. Demolition is being scheduled for late January or early February. The ground racks will arrive and be assembled by the Marina staff this week. These racks will be used to store 25 boats currently in the building that is being replaced and then be the permanent ground level racks for the future building. The timber bunks arrived directly from the saw mill this week. We plan to use the wash racks and a few other locations to store the remainder of the boats until the project phase is complete. At this time, completion of Phase One is scheduled for the end of April.

Dredging Project

Dolan Yacht Service, Inc. began the dredging project this past Saturday. As we move through this project, some weekend hours may be necessary to stay on schedule. This year’s project is estimated to continue for a minimum of 30 days. The dredge pipes are marked with floats in the basin allowing our boaters to maneuver in and out of the Harbor.

Landings Harbor Painting Project

Our team gave a fresh coat of blue paint to the trim on one of the shacks at the Harbor.

Landings Harbor Store

It’s going to be chillier over the next week. We have the perfect Landings gear to wear on those brisk days. Our store is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Make sure to grab some of these sweatshirts before we restock with new merchandise for the spring and summer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Landings Sailing Club

The Landings Sailing Club held Rhodes 19 races on Sunday, January 15 on the Wilmington River. Yankee and Susan B competed until the very end when Yankee won the tiebreaker. Both boats were sporting brand new spinnakers from UK Sails, Chicago.

The Landings Harbor Marina dry, wet, and jet ski storage are at full capacity. We continue to maintain a waiting list for all slips.

Delegal Creek Marina

Operating Hours 9 AM – 5 PM Daily

I'm glad to report Delegal survived our winter freeze with no damage to the plumbing. We've had some movement with regards to the waiting list for slips, so feel free to give us a call, and we can let you know your status.
