Landings Harbor Marina

More than 400 boat moves were completed by our forklift drivers and staff over Memorial Day Weekend. The weather was gorgeous, as everyone enjoyed the unofficial kickoff to summer. We do appreciate everyone who used the BoatCloud App to request their boat movements.

Our team continued to give a fresh coat of paint to areas around the marina, including some fencing, porch columns, and window frames.

Marina Ship’s Store

The store was very busy over Memorial Day weekend. We’ve never seen the ice cream freezer so empty before! Have no fear; it is filled up and ready for you to come grab a cup of Leopold’s or a cool ice cream treat. We just added snow-cones to the mix!

50th Anniversary Merchandise

The 50th Anniversary t-shirts are getting low in stock. And there are only six of the limited Tervis tumblers left. Father’s Day is coming soon. We still have polos, golf towels, and koozies! Dad would absolutely love to get a piece of apparel or merchandise celebrating this special moment in time for The Landings.

Landings Sailing Club

The Landings Sailing Club had to forgo the Beer Can Race last Friday due to inclement weather conditions. The after-party event was moved to Delegal Creek Marina, where the members enjoyed the traditional cocktail social.

There will be a new session of the Basic Sailing Course beginning on Saturday, July 23 to be offered by a certified SEAS (Society for the Education of American Sailors) instructor in collaboration with local sailors from The Landings Sailing Club. This is intended to teach basics of sailing to those 21 years and over who have never been on a sailboat, as well as those with some experience. This is a two-day course that includes classroom instruction plus an on-the-water session. The cost is $100 per student. $25 is refundable if you join TLSC within 30 days. You must be a Landings resident. Please reach out to Angela Margolit if interested (973-296-8011 or amargolit@hotmail.com).

Dry Storage

The Landings Harbor Marina dry, wet, and jet ski storage is at full capacity. We continue to maintain a waiting list for all slips.

Delegal Creek Marina

Dock Master Mike Marino expressed his thanks for a successful holiday at Delegal Creek. We had several visiting boaters from around the area for the weekend. The marina was at full capacity, and the activity was exciting! We hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Lost and Found

A silver Yeti tumbler and a pair of white Under Armor sunglasses were found left at the Marina this past week. Please contact the marina staff if you may have lost these items (912-224-3885).
