Vehicle Accident with Injuries

On Friday, March 11, Security, Chatham Emergency Services (CES), and Chatham County Police Department (CCPD) responded to Landings Way North near Dame Kathryn Drive for a vehicle accident with injuries. Upon arrival, officers witnessed a vehicle which appeared to have hit three trees and then flipped over. The driver was transported to the hospital, and the vehicle was removed from the scene by a tow truck. The cause of the accident is unknown at this time but believed to be related to a medical incident.

 

Possible Structure Fire

On Wednesday, March 9, Security and CES responded to a residence on Magnolia Crossing for a possible structure fire. Upon arrival, CES determined there was a faulty outlet into which the dryer was plugged. No further assistance was needed.
