Operating hours for Landings Harbor Marina currently are Monday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Delegal Creek Marina is open each day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Summer hours will take effect at both locations after Memorial Day. Landings Harbor’s summer hours will be 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Delegal’s new hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., daily.

Summer is almost here! The bright, sunny days and warmer weather are a beautiful backdrop to the hustle and bustle at the Marinas. Whether you are one of our boating members or a resident who loves to come for the spectacular views, we welcome everyone, including pups!

Our Marinas are at full capacity. We ask for your patience as we look for solutions to aid with our growing boat and personal watercraft (Wave Runners and Jet Skis) population. Please let us know if you need boat storage. We are happy to add you to our waitlist.

In April, Kathryn Lapolla and The Landings Association announced kayak classes at Delegal Creek Marina. Lapolla holds a Level 3 Instructor certification from the American Canoe Association. The first two Basic Skills and Safety classes were offered at no cost and limited to six people. These classes were booked entirely almost as soon as the announcement was made. With such a great response, Lapolla will hold additional classes soon, ranging from beginner to advanced level. As the plans and agendas are approved, we will provide more information.

If you want to get out on the water but don’t own a boat, we have you covered! Consider joining The Landings Sailing Club for recreational, social, and boat racing fun. You also can check out Carefree Boat Club and enjoy the rewards of boating without the commitment of owning a boat. Both organizations are based at the Landings’ Marinas. For more information about the Sailing Club, please email landingssailing@gmail.com. For more information about Carefree Boat Club, please email chris@carefreeboats.com

The Landings Sailing Club will offer a Basic Sailing Course for both novice and skilled sailors on May 22 and 23. This course is led by a certified Society for the Education of American Sailors (SEAS) instructor and existing Sailing Club members. Saturday’s course will be held at Delegal’s Sunset Pavilion. Sunday’s class includes four hours on the water at Landings Harbor Marina. There is a cost for this course to cover material handouts and the ASA 101 Sailing Made Easy coursebook. For more information and to register, contact Angela Margolis (amargolit@hotmail.com or 973-296-8011).

We have new merchandise in our Landings Harbor Store! Come by and check out our selections of Penn fishing rod combos, Tackle Crafters ready rigs, Vudu soft bait lures, Band of Angler soft baits, and Betts Billy Bay popping floats. We also offer Rheos sunglasses that float with clear, nylon optics and Aquavault waterproof phone cases. Don’t forget to stop by for a Leopold’s fix and try some other sweet treats, like the original red, white, and blue BOMB POPS, ice cream sandwiches, strawberry shortcake bars, and King Cones. And when those nasty sand gnats are driving you crazy, try the Mad Pharmacist’s Insect Repellent that everyone is raving about!

Finally, we have resumed accepting reservations for Delegal’s Sunset Pavilion. You can reserve this amenity on the Association’s website (landings.org/sunset-pavilion).

Stay tuned for more information about upcoming events this summer. We look forward to seeing you at the Marinas!
