The Landings Association has organized aTown Hall Meeting for Monday, June 15 at 6 p.m., to cover Hurricane Preparedness. Due to social distancing mandates in place for COVID-19, this year’s event will be a virtual meeting.

At this meeting, Chatham Emergency Management Agency’s (CEMA) Community Outreach Specialist Chelsea Sawyer will discuss how best to prepare for a storm, and how evacuations will look with the new normal created by COVID-19. She will be joined by Emergency Director Dennis Jones. A report from this meeting will be provided in E-News and the video will be posted on our YouTube Channel (www.YouTube.com/landingsassociation) for those unable to attend.

It is important for each resident to create a Hurricane Plan and not to rely on the Association for evacuation. You can get help with creating such a plan by reviewing the information beginning on page 58 of your 2020 Landings Residential Directory or by visiting www.landings.org/resources > Emergency Planning.
