The Market at 3 West Ridge Thanks You!

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church 2020 Market shopping boutique and plant sale raised $57,000 that was divided equally between two local programs that work with abused and neglected children -- Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and Coastal Children’s Advocacy Center (CCAC). Although the pandemic prevented our parish from presenting the checks in a joyful service in late April, know that these funds were very much appreciated.

The money could not have come at a more critical time. The pandemic has added to everyone’s stress level, especially that of families and abused children, many of whom are coping with social isolation, job loss, and the temporary closure of schools -- the primary source for identifying abuse cases.

Thank you, Landings Journal readers. Your generous financial support, the tireless work of more than 120 volunteers, the local sponsors, and the 828 loyal shoppers who visited this year’s Market all contributed to its success.
