Kids aren’t the only ones who go trick-or treating! Join us on Saturday, October 26 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Kids’ Fishing Lagoon (located behind the Fire Station at the intersection of Log Landing and Westcross roads) to learn how birds go trick-or- treating every day to find their food. We’ll even make some bird feeders to take home to deter birds from finding the remnants that might get dropped from our human Halloween adventures (this activity involves handling peanut butter). Following these activities, Coastal Conservation Association Skidaway Chapter (CCA) volunteers will be on site to assist with family fishing time (fishing poles and bait provided by CCA). To register for the event, please email fishinfun.CCASkidaway@gmail.com.
