Hurricane Dorian Cleanup

Public Works and BrightView staff continued to remove downfall located on common properties and sweep the roadways from small debris as a result of Hurricane Dorian. The construction department has been operating three sweepers throughout the community and by the end of the week, all primary and secondary roads will have been swept, including the vast majority of tertiary roads. 

Road Repair and Maintenance
This week, Bennett Paving completed asphalt repairs on the following roads: Sea Oats Lane, Lanyard Court and Shellwind Drive.

The repairs on Franklin Creek Road South are scheduled for the week of September 23.  Communications will be sent via e-bulletin over the next couple of weeks to notify the community of this work.

Community Path Repair and Maintenance

Absolute Concrete is in the process of replacing and repairing conrete panels on the Bartram Road path and areas along Landings Way South this week. As a reminder, these panel repairs are funded through the repair and maintenance operating budget.

BrightView Gate Flower Bed Change-Outs

Over the next week, BrightView staff will change the remaining flower beds out within the community which include the Main Gate (sign and gate flower beds), Oakridge Gate (center median bed), the Moon River Gate beds and the North Gate sign bed. The flower varieties include mixed marigolds, red salvia and yellow marigolds. As a reminder, this work is included within our annual landscape contract with BrightView.
