Annual Landings Harbor Family Fishing Tournament Set for September 28

Boats, fish, crabs - oh my! The Landings Harbor Annual Family Fishing Tournament, a partnership of The Landings Association's Marinas and Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) of Skidaway, is scheduled for September 28 with the addition of a Family Crabbing competition!

A Captains' Meeting and cookout hosted by CCA will be held Friday, September 27, at 6 p.m. at Landings Harbor to kick off the fun for the entire family and go over the rules for the tournament.

Weigh-in will be Saturday, September 28, by 4 p.m. at Landings Harbor, with announcement of winners to follow. Prizes will be awarded for highest aggregate weight (any three fish), single highest weight Spanish Mackerel caught by an adult, and single highest weight Spanish Mackerel caught by a youth (15 and under). In the Family Crabbing division, prizes will be awarded for greatest length single crab and highest aggregate weight (10 crabs).

Registration for the Fishing division is $50 per boat and includes two t-shirts and two meal tickets for the kickoff cookout.

Registration for the Family Crabbing division is $35 (one person on the team MUST be 15 years or younger) and includes two t-shirts and two meal tickets for the kickoff cookout.

Extra t-shirts and meal tickets will be available for purchase prior to the event.
