Rotary Club of Skidaway Awards $9,620 to Five Children’s Charities
The Rotary Club of Skidaway Island recently awarded $9,620 to five local children’s charities. The grants will help support the innovative educational enrichment efforts of the following organizations:
- Horizons Savannah
- Loop It Up Savannah
- L.O.V.E. Mentors
- Parent University
- Y Readers Program, YMCA of Coastal Georgia
Supporting children’s charities is important to realizing Rotary International’s larger service mission: to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
