Fire
Security and CES responded to Larkspur Lane for a report of a dumpster fire at a home that currently is under construction on Thursday, April 18. The responding officer spoke with the contractor who stated the work crew had completed the floor earlier and placed something combustible into the dumpster, which later caught on fire from being in direct sunlight. Fortunately, the fire was contained to the dumpster, and there were no injuries. CES extinguished the fire.

The Power Movie
On Tuesday, April 23, Staff met with filming company location scouts regarding the possibility of shooting a movie in our community based on the book The Power by Naomi Alderman. The scouts were provided maps, documents for common property use, and information about TLA’s Rules and Covenants. Upon conducting their search, the scouts will provide Staff a list of homes which might work. Introductions would follow, and the scouts would prepare a presentation/proposal for consideration, including any potential disruption/impact to the community.
