Fun Fact Friday
During their last deployment, soldiers from 1st Ranger Battalion (stationed at Hunter Army Airfield) conducted 198 combat missions that resulted in the capture or death of 1900 terrorists. This week, one of the Battalion’s companies came out to The Landings to complete a 20 mile ruck (meaning each soldier carried a weighted backpack for the entire 20 miles) as part of their final preparations before deploying again.
