Voting Options in the Special Election for Skidaway Island Incorporation

Georgia’s Governor has now signed the legislation which authorizes a Special Election for Skidaway Island Incorporation on March 19. The election will be held at your regular Skidaway Island precinct. Per recently released details from the Chatham County Voter Registration Office, below is what you need to know for how to participate in the upcoming Special Election for Skidaway Island Incorporation. You must be a registered voter of Skidaway Island. The registration deadline is February 19. You can confirm your registration and poll location by calling Voter Registration (912-790-1520) or by going to www.mvp.sos.ga.gov. You can do absentee voting by mail from February  25 – March 15. To request an absentee ballot, you must submit a written request in one of the following ways:
  • Email: absenteeballots@chathamcounty.org
  • In person: 1117 Eisenhower Drive, Suite E
  • Mail: Voter Registration, P.O. BOX 13757, Savannah, GA 31416
  • Fax: (912) 790-1519
You also can conduct absentee early in-person voting from February 25 – March 15. To do so, visit 1117 Eisenhower Drive, Suite E.
