Dear Landings Club Member,
The Landings Club and Spring Invitational Committee cordially invite you to participate in the third annual Spring Invitational to be held May 17-19, 2018.
This event was a great success last year and the committee is preparing another outstanding event for you and your guests to enjoy this spring. Play with another couple as a four-person team in the mixed division or a two-person team in the ladies’ or men’s division. All divisions will be flighted by handicap.
We are pleased that the entry fee has not increased from last year and remains $365 for the Ladies’ and Men’s divisions (two person team) and $715 for the Mixed Division (four person team).
Your entry fee includes:
– Guest fees and cart rental for a practice round and two tournament rounds
– Putting contest and beverages on Thursday
– Breakfast and lunch both tournament days
– Beverages at the scoreboard both tournament days
– Gifts for all and prizes for the flight winners
– Closing party on Saturday night
This is a great value; a la carte pricing would be $600 per two person team and $1,200 per four person team.
That’s right; the closing party is included in the price. Our aim is to make it special and memorable. If you attended the Wednesday opening reception party for the Men’s Invitational these last several years, you know expectations were exceeded with the fun, great food, and drinks offered by the food & beverage team. We are planning a comparable blowout (closing night) with a full hosted bar and multiple food stations to satisfy any appetite. This party should not be missed! There is no cost for participants but non-playing spouses are invited to attend for a nominal fee of $25.
The Spring Invitational will be a first class event and a great way to showcase our Club, golf courses, amenities, and Coastal Spring to your guests. So invite family and friends and join us for the Spring Invitational.
Registration cards were included in your December Club statement, or you may fill one out at any of the golf shops or email Ellen Jacobs. In March, we will mail all registrants an Invitational brochure; we will also mail a welcome letter, Invitational brochure and a handicap verification card to your guest.
Please note that you will be billed for the tournament and any requested optional items in your May Club statement. Full refunds will be made if a cancellation notice is received by the tournament coordinator no later than May 3. No refunds will be made after that date unless a substitute team is participating. However, in the case of a withdrawal without a replacement, that team will be entitled to receive the tee prizes.
