Interesting Facts
Player Charity Visits

As we have written previously, charity is a big part of the PGA TOUR and all net proceeds from every tournament stay in the local communities. Players also spend time on charitable events while in a community and will be doing this in Savannah. Specifically, some of the pros will be making military visits to both the Air National Guard and Hunter AAF. They will also be visiting Memorial Children’s Hospital as well as going to the Second Harvest Food Bank. So, in addition to the charitable monies the TOUR provides, these visits by professional athletes is another great benefit of having this tour event in Savannah.
