MATS was formed to create social activities for people in the TWEEN years. Lots of us are empty nesters or semi-empty nesters. Some work, many from home or are commuting to other areas of the country. Some of us have lived on Skidaway for many years and some are brand new to the area. We are comprised of men, women, married, single. We do not have any political or religious affiliation. Our common characteristic is we want to socialize with others in a similar place.

New Neighbors is a very special organization where you will meet wonderful friends with whom you can to share the next chapter of life, as a new resident of The Landings.

The Landings Garden Club Mission Statement Section 1 – To function as an educational organization interested in all phases of gardening and related subjects. Section 2 – To aid in the protection of forests, marshes, native plants, wild flowers and birds. Section 3 – To maintain membership in and coordinate club interests with those of the Garden Club of Georgia, Inc., The National Council of Garden Clubs, Inc., and the Savannah Area Council of Garden Clubs, Inc.

Skidaway Audubon is a not-for-profit organization that raises money for conservation projects throughout the island. We also serve as a catalyst for collaboration, bringing experts and organizations together to educate and problem solve.

The Skidaway Island Democrats promote Democratic ideals while bringing together liberal and progressive residents of Skidaway Island, Georgia, to share ideas, collaborate, and take action.
