Feedback Requested for ARC Guidelines Proposed Changes

Thu, 09/26/2024

Throughout 2023 and into 2024, The Landings Association’s Architectural Review Committee has been working with staff to analyze and propose revisions to the current Landings Association Architectural Design and Development Guidelines.

As part of the study conducted over the last year and a half, 14 similar coastal communities from South Carolina to Northern Florida were benchmarked for comparison with a particular focus on those similar in scale and operation to The Landings.

The intent of the resulting revisions is to create a document that is easier for residents to understand, clearly defines the administrative process for each type of application, addresses inconsistencies, removes typos/scrivener’s errors, and ensures that the standards are in alignment with the Compiled Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions and other TLA policies and governing documents. After receiving comments from the Association’s Board, committees, staff, and legal counsel, the proposed changes are ready for the community to evaluate and provide input.

Thank you for your commitment to the continued success of The Landings!
