Audubon International Recertification Onsite Meeting

Sean Burgess, Greg Freeman and members of Skidaway Audubon met with the liaison from Audubon International to conduct the required site visit and long-term planning required for recertification as a sustainable community. The Landings was the first community awarded this honor in the State of Georgia, and recertification is required every three years. The Landings community was re-certified this week for another three years!

2024 Storm Drain Project

This week, Southeast Pipe began working on this year’s storm drain project in Area 1 (along Bartram Road, from the four-way intersection to Priest Landing Drive).  This year’s project includes repairing and lining damaged storm drain pipes using the CIPP technology. This project is anticipated to take approximately two months to complete.

Lagoon 2 Erosion Maintenance
Staff made the necessary improvements to the shoreline along the bank of Lagoon 2 this week (Lagoon 2 runs along Bartram Road). Erosion control was necessary along Lagoon 2 to help prevent damage to the community path that runs along this lagoon, while ensuring the safety of all persons traveling along the path.
