Trespass

On Thursday, August 22, Landings Security and Chatham County Police Department (CCPD) responded to a trespassing report. The suspect was the ex-boyfriend of the resident’s daughter. Upon arrival, he attempted to flee and was apprehended quickly by CCPD Officers. The suspect became verbally and physically combative with CCPD Officers and was arrested by CCPD. A review of the Avigilon camera system revealed that the individual tailgated through the RFID lane behind an authorized resident’s vehicle.

 

Property Damage

Security responded to a residence on Oak Glade Court for a report of a disturbance at an estate sale on Thursday, August 22. During the disturbance, the individual, identified as a resident, began cursing and insulting estate employees. Additionally, the individual broke a patio umbrella and spilled a white liquid on a patio stand and the patio. CCPD was called for the property damage and is handling the incident.

Traffic Safety

The Guardian Pro camera/LIDAR system was moved to Landings Way South near Huntingwood Retreat. The speed limit in this area is 35 MPH, and the highest recorded speed was 57 MPH. Staff sent out 36 violation notices between August 21 and 27. To date, 209 fines have been paid.
