Take Time To Be Kind This Election Season
Election season is here, and with it comes lots of varying opinions, political messages (both on and off the television screen), and predictions from the experts and those who consider themselves experts.
Regardless of where you drop your anchor regarding political affiliations, the Communications Committee’s Courtesy Subcommittee reminds everyone that Kindness is Cool and Courtesy is Contagious even when we don’t agree.
Additionally, please remember that only five types of signs are permitted on an owner's outside residential property in The Landings. Acceptable signs include Real Estate signs, For Sale by Owner signs issued by TLA, Temporary Open House signs, Celebration Greetings signs (e.g., graduation, birthdays, anniversaries, baby announcements, etc.) for a period not to exceed 72 hours, and General Contractor signs (for New Construction projects and Major Improvement projects as indicated on the issued permit). Signs must face the street and are not permitted to be visible from the golf courses. See the Architectural Guidelines for further details. All other signs, including those political in nature, are strictly prohibited.
As we navigate the 2024 Election Season, be sure to exercise your right to vote while respecting the rights of others to do the same. While you’re at it, don’t forget to share a smile and the SkidaWave!
