The offshore low pressure kept most boater’s dockside this week. Small craft winds and strong rip currents along the immediate coast steered up enough chop in the river that even the members from The Landings Sailing Club canceled their planned Wednesday social race.

Above Ground Fuel Tank project

Guardian Fuel Technologies received the final approval from the State Fire Marshall on Tuesday. On Monday, June 24 our fuel vendor will deliver gasoline and diesel fuel to the new tank. The remaining fuel in the underground tanks will be removed, filtered, and pumped into the new aboveground tank. We anticipate that fuel will not be available for a couple of days next week while Guardian resets the fuel dispensers and completes the final steps to activate the new system.

Landings Dry Storage Activity

The Savannah Yacht Club is planning their fireworks on Tuesday, July 3. Landings Harbor Marina will remain on our summer schedule and will close at our scheduled time of 6 p.m. Please make your plans accordingly, and prepare for minimum dockage after hours.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Delegal Creek Marina (DCM)
Operating hours   8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Daily

Delegal Creek Marina remained quiet as the weather halted most boaters planning to venture out this week. The weather outside of Delegal Creek can be much rougher than you will experience at the dock. Small craft advisories are expected to remain in effect through the weekend, so please make your best judgement if you do head out for a day on the water.
