Landings boaters are enjoying the Marina’s summer operating hours. Staff now launch boats from 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. during the week and 8 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. on the weekends. The summer operating hours will continue through Labor Day in September.
Above Ground Fuel Tank Replacement Project
Guardian Fuel Technologies is in the final stages of the Fuel Tank Replacement Project at Landings Harbor Marina. The new fuel dispenser mounts and the underground lines have passed the pressure testing. The open trenches are closed to prepare for the new sidewalk to be replaced. Fuel is scheduled to be delivered to the new tank next week.
Landings Harbor Store
New arrivals this week include Landings Harbor hoodies and solar shirts in youth and adult sizes. Ladies apparel solar shirts in arctic blue feature the signature blue Landings Harbor burgee. There also are hoodies in white featuring the signature blue Landings Harbor burgee. The new youth apparel is the perfect lightweight material to protect your little ones from the sun while on the boat or at the beach. AFTCO classic fit fishing shorts and swim trunks will help keep you in style this boating season.
Flotilla 10-02
The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary will conduct free vessel safety checks on June 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Landings Harbor Marina.
TLSC Basic Sailing Class
The Landings Sailing Club (TLSC) has scheduled a Basic Sailing Class for Saturday, August 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The two-day intensive course includes interactive classroom instruction plus an on-the-water session to practice boat and sail-handling skills. The cost for the course is $100 per student, $25 of which will be refunded if you join TLSC within 30 days. The class is intended to teach the basics of sailing to those 21 and over who never have been on a sailboat, as well as those with some experience. Every student must be a Landings resident.

Delegal Creek Marina (DCM)
Delegal Creek Marina’s Dockmaster Kathrine (Kate) Cram reports that transient boaters still are on the move North for the summer.
