Notice of Landings Harbor Store Operations interruption Tuesday and Wednesday
Evans Electric will be replacing the main breaker panel that controls the Ship’s Store on Tuesday and Wednesday March 26 & 27, 2024. The Marina will be open during this project although the fuel system will be disabled. This is directly related to the new fuel tank system’s electrical requirements. The existing panel is unable to meet code requirements therefore it is being replaced. Costs associated with this are covered within the Landings Harbor Fuel Tank Project.
Annual Dredging Project
Dolan Yacht Services has completed the dredging for this year. We will have a bathymetric survey completed to determine the volume of silt that has been removed.
Dry Rack Replacement – Phase Two
Roof and Rack has continued to make more progress assembling the two dry rack buildings this past week. They have started placing the boards for the racks the boats will sit on. We expect Phase Two to be completed during the first week of April 2024.
If your boat has been temporarily displaced during this project, please remember to give us as much notice as you can if you need your boat. Wash rack space is minimal as well. We will do everything we can to accommodate requests. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Above Ground Fuel Tank
Guardian Fuel Technologies continues to work on installing the new aboveground fuel tank. The new fuel tank is scheduled to be completely installed and operational during the first week of April, 2024. Fueling operations will remain active during the installation of the tank and new underground fuel lines. We do expect that there will be a couple of days when fuel will not be available at The Harbor during the final steps of the project. An advisory notice of this interruption will be sent to all boaters as soon as we have a scheduled time.

Sunset Cruises
Last Friday we announced the exciting news that we are offering Sunset Cruises once again with Captain Mike from Bull River Cruises! We sold out tickets for all three available dates very quickly! All three cruises have several people on the wait lists as well. We have contacted Captain Mike to let him know and we will post an update if we can add more dates. You will find information on The Landings Association website, www.landings.org. You will see the Sunset Cruise dates listed on the calendar. If you have any questions, please call Jen Sabo (912-598-1901).
We know it’s been crazy here at the marina with all the construction going on, but the Harbor Store is always open during marina hours and we have snacks, ice cream treats, Leopold’s single serve cups, candy, adult beverages, cold drinks, shirts, hats, Tervis tumblers, Rheos sunglasses, boat cleaning supplies, sunscreen, and, yes, we have “that” bug spray that everyone is talking about. Come get a few bottles of the Mad Pharmacist Insect Repellent to help keep those pesky bugs away!
The Landings Sailing Club
Learn To Sail Basic Sailing Course - Saturday, April 27
There will be a Basic Sailing Course led by a certified Society for the Education of American Sailors (SEAS) instructor in collaboration with sailors from The Landings Sailing Club (TLSC). The class is intended to teach the basics of sailing to those age 21 and over who have never been on a sailboat, as well as those with some experience. The two-day intensive course includes interactive classroom instruction plus an on-the-water session to practice boat and sail-handling skills. The water session will be held the following Tuesday or Wednesday based on the student and instructor availability, weather, and tides. The cost for the course is $100 per student, $25 of which will be refunded if you join TLSC within 30 days after joining as a full-time member. Every student must be a Landings resident. If you have questions, contact Angela Margolit directly (973-296-8011). To register, email Angela (amargolit@hotmail.com).
Landings Harbor Dry Storage
We are currently in Phase Two of the Dry Rack Storage Project. We have temporarily relocated boats that were in the racks (K, L, & M) being replaced. All K, L, & M rack boat owners should call the Marina directly (912)598-1901 to schedule boat movements. For all other rack locations, Boatcloud reservation remains open, although timing has been adjusted to 15 minutes intervals to allow our staff appropriate time to access boats during the reconstruction activities in the dry storage area during the project.
