Happy New Year!

We have a few projects kicking off in the new year. We are expecting Uniformed Concrete onsite to install the new fuel tank pad next week. We are anxiously awaiting the approved permits from Chatham County to begin Phase 2 of the Dry Rack Replacement Project. The Marina Staff completed assembling the ground racks that will be used to stage boats from the K, L, and M racks during the project. Roof and Rack has estimated that the new steel buildings will be delivered in early to mid-February. The Marina Staff has closed the East launch dock to begin replacing the forklift wheel stops. We will continue using only the West launch dock for all launch activity until the new stops are ready for use.

Landings Harbor Storage

Dry, wet, and jet ski storage are currently full. We will continue to maintain all waiting lists. We are preparing for Phase Two of the Dry Rack Storage Project. To do so, we will be temporarily relocating boats that are currently in the racks that will be replaced.

Delegal Creek Marina (DCM)

Operating hours  9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Daily

Delegal Creek Marina hosted a few transient boaters as we ushered in the New Year. The week was relatively quiet and tranquil. Wednesday morning a main waterline feeding the docks caused a shutdown. The Marina staff along with Public Works quickly assessed the issue and were able to reconnect the waterline by early afternoon. Below freezing temperature Wednesday morning was determined to be the culprit.
