Landings Harbor Store
The Marinas are getting decked out for the holidays! We hope you’ll think of us as the place to find the perfect gifts for those on your list! Tervis tumblers and the mugs are back in stock! We have fun boater themed ornaments that would look great on a tree and/or as a gift topper. Vests and hooded full zip jackets are among our favorite new items in the store. They are made from a mid-weight quilted fabric with embroidered detail on the chest. We haven’t had anything like this in the store before. Come check them out!
The Landings Sailing Club
The cooler temps are not slowing down The Landings Sailing Club. The Frostbite Race Series continued this past weekend.
Landings Harbor Storage
Dry, wet, and jet ski storage are currently full. We will continue to maintain all waiting lists. We are preparing for Phase Two of the Dry Rack Storage Project that will commence at the end of this year. To do so, we need to plan on relocating boats that are currently in the racks that will be replaced.
Landings Dry Storage Activity
Delegal Creek Marina (DCM)
Operating hours 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Daily
We had additional work done on the diesel fuel line this week. Fortunately, there were no interruptions to any of our boaters. We are mounting a flagpole on the front of the dock office to alert boaters when there's a small craft advisory (winds of 18 – 33 knots) or Gale Warnings (winds of 34 – 47 knots) are in effect. A single red pendant indicates a small craft advisory, and two red pendants indicate a gale warning. The Marinas want to let boaters know when conditions are hazardous to smaller vessels.
