Dolan Yacht Services is replacing several sections of seawall panels at the entrance of the Harbor. They are working around low tide so that the bottom section of the new panels can be secured to the lower whalers. The medal seawall panels were damaged during Hurricane Idalia and are being replaced with heavy vinyl panels.
Landings Harbor Store
New merchandise is starting to roll in!!! We hope you will keep us in mind when you’re doing your holiday shopping this year. The sweater textured quarter zip and vest will keep you warm on those cooler days. The custom leather patch is a classic finishing touch. We got two colors in the cotton slub hoody with our Landings burgee on the chest. We had a similar ladies version before and so many men said they would love something like that. So, here it is! Perfect, unisex, light weight hoodie. Stay tuned for more updates.
The Landings Sailing Club
Members of The Landings Sailing Club always take advantage of full moon nights by going out onto the water to enjoy the majestic views. They race hard as well as play hard.
Nine Landings residents participated in the Beginner Sailing Class offered on October 28. These courses are offered every few months and are the perfect way to meet fellow neighbors and learn about sailing.
Landings Harbor Storage
Dry, wet, and jet ski storage are currently full. We will continue to maintain all waiting lists. We are preparing for Phase Two of the Dry Rack Storage Project that will commence at the end of this year. To do so, we need to plan on relocating boats that are currently in the racks that will be replaced.
Landings Dry Storage Activity
Delegal Creek Marina (DCM)
Operating hours 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Daily
Delegal staff thanks everyone for their patience over the last few weeks. We had to replace a section of the fuel lines and the water lines which caused interruptions in the flow of the Marina. We're back in full operation now. We’ve replaced water faucets on several wet slip power centers and have a few remaining that will be replaced before the end of the year. We ask that you please avoid leaving aluminum water hose connections attached to the brass faucets long-term. The salt environment causes the two dissimilar metals to seize onto the faucets.
