On November 17, the three, blue, United States Post Office (USPS) Mail Collection Boxes in The Village will be permanently removed.

According to a USPS employee in the Fahm Street office, USPS has been monitoring the Collection Boxes throughout Chatham County for the past two-to-three years. USPS is removing approximately 30 boxes throughout Savannah due to there not being enough mail volume to keep them open and fraudulent activity involving some of the boxes. USPS is not currently able to honor requests it has received to keep some of the boxes open.

Residents are reminded that The Village Walk Pharmacy is an authorized United States Postal Service location. The hours are M-F from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and pickup on those days is 3:30 p.m. Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mail pickup times vary on Saturday but are usually between noon and 1 p.m. It is important to note that on Saturdays, The Village Walk Pharmacy will only accept ready mail. They do not sell stamps on Saturdays.

The second closest postal location to The Landings is the United States Post Office on Eisenhower Drive (1348 Eisenhower Drive).
