Public Works...Working for You!
Landings Harbor Parking Lot Project
Work on the Landings Harbor Parking Lot renovation continued this week. Over the next couple of weeks, staff will install a new four-foot-wide walking path at the Harbor to improve the connectivity between the parking lot and the Harbor Store, while increasing the safety and access to the facility for those with limited mobility. This addition of this walking path will be funded through the 2023 community path capital project.
Nature Trail Gate Installation
In-house staff fabricated and installed a gate along the Nature Trail near Huntingwood Retreat this week. This gate will restrict golf carts who have been accessing the Nature Trail. As a reminder, all motorized vehicles (other than maintenance vehicles) are prohibited from accessing the Nature Trail as the trail is designed for walkers and runners.

Landlovers Bench Installation Project
In-house staff continued installing the benches and swings that were generously donated by Landlovers this week at the Peregrine Crossing Shell Rake, two along Delegal Road and two in Oakridge. Once all benches have been installed, staff will create and distribute a map for residential use and enjoyment.
2023 Road Repair and Replacement Project
Beginning Monday, September 25 (weather contingent), Bennett Paving is scheduled to begin milling and paving The Landings Harbor parking lot. Barring any weather delays, we anticipate this project to be completed by September 29. During this project, access to the Marina will be restricted to all vehicles, including vendors, carts, bicycles, walkers, runners, except for emergency vehicles. Parking will be limited, so please plan accordingly. Signage and traffic control personnel will be onsite throughout the project
